Symboticware Inc., an industry leader of standardized information-based technology to enhance productivity, sustainability, profitability and safety through real-time data management solutions, announces a project agreement with Mexico-based Fresnillo PLC. The project will include installation of the company’s flagship telemetry solutions on a large mixed fleet, as well as an extensive service contract for Asset Reliability Services.
Symboticware was selected, not only for their flagship telemetry technologies, but because of the services provided by Symboticware’s Asset Reliability Team. After installation, the team will work closely with the mine to build an extensive strategy, using the data to streamline operations at both open-pit and underground mine sites.
“We selected Symboticware because their technology gives us access to raw data at the highest possible level of integrity,” said Baldomero Guiterrez, CIO Fresnillo PLC. “Our goal for all of our operations is to be at the forefront of innovation, working towards an AI-enabled maintenance plan. What Symboticware offers is the foundation to AI.”
“Our project with Fresnillo demonstrates the long history and the trust established between Arizona-based mining service providers, and mining companies in Mexico,” said Justin Johnsen, VP Symboticware USA/Mexico. “We’re pleased to collaborate with Fresnillo, as we introduce the value our asset reliability services will bring to Mexico. Our first customer there won’t just be extracting world-class data – they’ll be gaining significant value by putting it to work for them.
